The Malawi side tables are handcrafted masterpieces made from rattan strips woven in intricate patterns along the sides and top of the table. The special highlight: Instead of glue or nails, which are common in European designs, manufacturers secure the strips with special knots.

It takes a skilled artisan several days to create such a table, as each table is custom-made and made entirely by hand. This also means that every table is unique.

While the photo shows our current inventory, each table will be slightly different in dimensions due to its handcrafted nature. However, this only adds to the individuality and uniqueness of each table.

However, if you choose one of these tables, you should keep in mind that they are a little more delicate than other pieces of furniture. Too much moisture can cause dark spots on the rattan, but don't worry - there is an easy solution. Oxalic acid, available at any hardware store, can simply be dissolved in water and used to remove stains. Simply apply to the affected area and wipe off.

All in all, the Malawi side tables are not only extremely elegant and attractive, but also a real work of art, carefully crafted with great attention to detail by skilled artisans.
